(This note is not part of the Order)
The Order amends the Protection of Wrecks (Designation No. 1) Order 1979 by redefining the centre of the site of an historic wreck in Cardigan Bay, off Tal-y-bont, Gwynedd and by increasing the restricted area to one of 300 (instead of 150) metres of the site. The amendment is made in order to include in the restricted area an additional part of the wreck recently discovered outside the area originally designated. No part of the restricted area lies above high water mark of ordinary spring tides.
