The Secretary of State for Transport, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973(1) and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (Community Cabotage Authorisations) (Fees) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st July 1990.
2.-(1) The fee payable on the issue of a Community cabotage authorisation shall be £5.00.
(2) In paragraph (1) above "Community cabotage authorisation" means an authorisation granted pursuant to Council Regulation (EEC) No. 4059/89 of 21st December 1989 laying down conditions under which non-resident carriers may operate national road haulage services within a Member State(2).
