The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 11(3)(a) of the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act 1971(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:
1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st January 1991.
(2) The Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) (Amendment) Regulations 1990(2) are hereby revoked.
2. In regulation 5 (fees for certificates) of the Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1981(3) for "£25" there shall be substituted "£33".

These Regulations amend the Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1981 by increasing the fee to be paid on application for a certificate of compulsory insurance from £25 to £33.
