1. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road as from the date on which this Order comes into force.
2. In this Order-
(i)"the deposited plan" | means the plan numbered HA10/YHR04 marked "The A614 Trunk Road (Bawtry to Austerfield Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 1990" signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY; |
(ii)"principal road" | as a classification for a highway means that the highway is a principal road for the purposes of enactments and instruments which refer to high-ways classified as principal roads and is also classified for the purpose of every other enactment and instrument which refers to highways classified by the Secretary of State; |
(iii)"the trunk road" | means the A614 Trunk Road. |
3. This Order shall come into force on 20th April 1990 and may be cited as the A614 Trunk Road (Bawtry to Austerfield Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 1990.

The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is that length of Trunk Road from a point (marked A' on the deposited plan) at the junction of the A614 with the A638 to a point (marked B' on the deposited plan) at the junction of the A614 with Austerfield Roundabout, all in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster in the County of South Yorkshire, a distance measured along that length of road of about 3.76 kilometres.
