In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by sections 4(5) and (6), 5(1)(a) and 11(1) of the Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978 (1)and sections 101(4) and (5), 102(2)(a) and 142(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (2) and, in respect of matters prescribed for the purposes of provisions of the Act of 1984, after consultation with the organisations mentioned in section 134(2) of that Act, I hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st June 1990.
2. Regulation 3(1)(a), (2)(a) and (3) of the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc.) Regulations 1989 (3)shall be amended by the substitution of "£80" for "£75" in each place where it occurs.

These Regulations amend the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc.) Regulations 1989 so as to increase, with effect from 1st June 1990, the sum or charge payable under the 1989 Regulations in respect of the removal by the police or a local authority of vehicles from £75 to £80.
