The Treasury, in exercise of their powers under subsections (2) and (3) of section 1 of the House of Commons Members' Fund Act 1957(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:-�
1. This Order may be cited as the House of Commons Members' Fund (Variation) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 15th August 1991.
2. In article 2 of the House of Commons Members' Fund Order 1981(2), the words from "and that the whole of the increase shall be excluded" to the end shall be deleted.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order varies the House of Commons Members' Fund Order 1981 so that the increase in the maximum amount of annual Exchequer contributions to the House of Commons Members' Fund, authorised by that Order, is no longer excluded from the application of section 4of the House of Commons Members' Fund Act 1948 (c. 36) (power of the House of Commons to appropriate contributions for payments for the purposes of section 4 of that Act).
