In pursuance of sections 21(8) and 51(4) of the Gaming Act 1968(1), I hereby make the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) (No. 2) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st May 1992.
(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.
2. In section 21(2) of the Gaming Act 1968(2) (conditions on which gaming for prizes is permitted at licensed club premises) paragraphs (b) and (e) shall have effect as if, for the sum of £20 specified in each of those paragraphs, there were substituted the sum of £25.
3. In the Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1988(3), article 2 shall be omitted.

This Order increases in England and Wales the maximum amounts permitted-
(a)to be taken by way of the sale of chances; and
(b)as the aggregate amount or value of prizes,
on any one determination of winners in gaming for prizes at licensed club premises under section 21 of the Gaming Act 1968.
