The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 15A(1) and (5) of the Harbours Act 1964((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with the harbour authorities concerned, and such other persons, or bodies representative of such persons, as are affected, hereby makes the following Order:
1. -�
(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Authorities (Variation of Constitution) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 7th July 1993.
(2) In this Order "the Minister" means the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
2. The power conferred on the Minister by article 7(1)(c) of the Flamborough North Sea Landing Harbour Order 1923((2)) to appoint one member of the Flamborough North Sea Landing Harbour Commissioners shall be exercisable by the said Flamborough North Sea Landing Harbour Commissioners.
3. The power conferred on the Minister by article 7(1)(b) of the Hope Harbour Order 1925((3)) to appoint two members of the Hope Harbour Commissioners shall be exercisable-�
(a)in respect of the appointment of one of the members, by the South Hams District Council; and
(b)in respect of the appointment of the other member, by the said Hope Harbour Commissioners.
4. The power conferred on the Minister by article 8(1)(b) of the North Sunderland Harbour Order 1931((4)) to appoint one member of the North Sunderland Harbour Commissioners shall be exercisable by the local fisheries committee for the Northumberland Sea Fisheries District.
5. The power conferred by article 7 of the Mevagissey Harbour Order 1865((5)) and vested in the Minister((6)) to appoint two members of the Trustees of Mevagissey Harbour shall be exercisable-�
(a)in respect of the appointment of one of the members, by Restormel Borough Council; and
(b)in respect of the other member, by the local fisheries committee for the Cornwall Sea Fisheries District.
6. The power conferred by article 12(2) of the Sennen Cove Harbour Order 1907((7)) and vested in the Minister((6)) to appoint one member of the Sennen Cove Harbour Commissioners shall be exercisable by the said Sennen Cove Harbour Commissioners.
7. The power conferred on the Minister by article 7(1)(c) of the Staithes Harbour Order 1932((8)) to appoint one member of the Staithes Harbour Commissioners shall be exercisable by Hinderwell Parish Council.
In witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is hereunto affixed on 21st May 1993.

This Order varies the constitution of-�
(a)the Flamborough North Sea Landing Harbour Commissioners,
(b)the Hope Harbour Commissioners,
(c)the North Sunderland Harbour Commissioners,
(d)the Trustees of Mevagissey Harbour,
(e)the Sennen Cove Harbour Commissioners, and
(f)the Staithes Harbour Commissioners
by providing for the powers to appoint members of such authorities, previously exercisable by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, to be exercised by the persons specified in the Order.
