HOUSING, SCOTLAND

The Housing Revenue Account General Fund Contribution Limits (Scotland) Order 1995

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 204 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Housing Revenue Account General Fund Contribution Limits (Scotland) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 1st March 1995.

General fund contribution limits

2. The amount of contribution out of its general fund which a local authority may estimate that it will carry to the credit of its housing revenue account for the year 1995-96 shall be limited to nil.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides that local authorities may not include in their estimates for the year 1995-96 any contribution from their general fund to their housing revenue account.
