The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 50(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consulting London authorities, the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis and London Regional Transport in accordance with section 50(3) and (4) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the London Priority Route (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 2nd June 1997.
2. The Schedule to the London Priority Route Order 1992(2) shall be amended in accordance with the Schedule to this Order.

Article 2
1. In paragraph 13, for the words "to its junction with Lewisham High Street (A20 section) and Lee High Road (A20)", there shall be substituted "to its southern junction with Molesworth Street".
2. Paragraph 27 shall be omitted.
3. In paragraph 64, for the words "the north-east side of its junction with Green Lanes (A105)", there shall be substituted "the south-west side of its junction with High Road (A10)".
4. Paragraph 65 shall be omitted.
5. Paragraph 77 shall be omitted.
6. Paragraph 110 shall be omitted.

This Order makes further changes to the priority route network in London (more particularly in relation to certain roads in the London Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey and Lewisham) designated, for the purposes of Part II of the Road Traffic Act 1991, by the London Priority Route Order 1992.
