Department of Trade and Industry authorised to act on behalf of the Secretary of State
18th December 1997
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Export of Goods (United Nations Sanctions) (Sierra Leone) Order 1997 by revoking Article 2 which prohibited the export to Sierra Leone without a licence of the petrol and petroleum products listed in the Schedule to the Order. Article 2 implemented in part United Nations Security Council Resolution 1132 (1997) of 8th October 1997. Those provisions are now included in the Sierra Leone (United Nations Sanctions) Order 1997 (S.I. 1997/2592) and this amendment is made to remove duplication.
