HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A60 Trunk Road (Woodthorpe Drive, Sherwood to Leapool) (Detrunking) Order 2003

  Made 16th April 2003 
  Coming into force 2nd July 2003 

The Secretary of State for Transport has made this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other enabling powers:

     1. This Order may be cited as the A60 Trunk Road (Woodthorpe Drive, Sherwood to Leapool) (Detrunking) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 2nd July 2003.

    
2. In this Order - 

     3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road from the date on which the Order comes into force.

THE SCHEDULE

LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD


The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated between the junction with Woodthorpe Drive, Sherwood, in the City of Nottingham (marked "A" on the plan) and the junction with the A614 Trunk Road at Leapool, in the District of Gedling, in the County of Nottinghamshire marked "B" on the plan). It is shown by broad black dashes on the plan and is approximately 10km in length.
