In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by section 2(1) of the Act[4], the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, on the application of the temporary governing body of the School, makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Haringey Sixth Form Centre (Governing Body) Order 2007 and comes into force on 22nd October 2007.
Exemption
2.
Regulations 12(3)(e) and (f), 13(1), 30(2) and paragraph 1 of Schedule 6 to the School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations 2007[5] are not to apply to the governing body of the School.
Time Period
3.
This Order has effect up to and including 31st August 2010.

[2] By virtue of section 34(7) of the Act, from the period beginning with the school opening date the temporary governing body is treated as if it were the permanent governing body of the school for the purposes of the Education Acts.back
