The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 71(3) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974(1), makes the following Order.
1. This Order-
(a)may be cited as the Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) (Revocation) (England) Order 2014;
(b)applies in England; and
(c)comes into force on 1st October 2014.
2. The Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981(2) is revoked.

This Order revokes the Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981 (S.I. 1981/1829) in relation to England.
