5RB Conference: Keynote address



The present time is an unusual one for the judiciary. The effect of the reduction of the retirement age for judges to 70 is that a substantial number of judges are coming up to retirement. Of particular interest to this audience is the fact that Eady J will reach statutory retirement age in a few months and I will do so in 2 years time.
