I, JOHN O'DONOGHUE, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11(2) of the Criminal Justice (United Nations Convention Against Torture) Act 2000 ( No. 11 of 2000 ) hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (United Nations Convention Against Torture) Act 2000 (Commencement) Order 2002. |

2. The 11th day of May, 2002, is appointed as the day on which section 11 of the Criminal Justice (United Nations Convention Against Torture) Act 2000 ( No. 11 of 2000 ) shall come into operation. |
