HARBOURS ACTS, 1996 AND 2000 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 6) ORDER, 2002

I, Frank Fahey, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996) , which said Act was amended by the S.I. No. 301 of 1997 ), hereby order as follows:

1.     This Order may be cited as the Harbours Acts, 1996 and 2000 (Commencement) (No. 6) Order, 2002.

2.     The 10th day of May, 2002, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Harbours Acts, 1996 and 2000, shall come into operation in relation to Wicklow Port Company.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).

This Order fixes the 10th day of May, 2002 as the day on which the Harbours Acts, 1996 and 2000 come into operation in relation to the Wicklow Port Company.
