Road Traffic Act 1994 (Section 25) (Commencement) Order 2002

I, Séamus Brennan, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 ( No. 7 of 1994 ) and the National Roads and Road Traffic (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 298 of 2002 ) (as adapted by the Public Enterprise (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister Order 2002 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2002 )), hereby order as follows:

1.         This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 1994 (Section 25) (Commencement) Order 2002.

2.         The 1^st day of January 2003 is fixed as the day on which section 25 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 ( No. 7 of 1994 ) comes into operation.
