REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 17 AND SECTION 18) (CORK) ORDER, 2004. |

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 17 and Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 17 and Section 18) (Cork) Order, 2004. 2. The existing Registrars’ Districts of Kilcatherine and Castletown shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar’s District to be known as the Registrar’s District of Castletown. 3. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of April 2004. |

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the functional are of the Southern Health Board, so as to reduce the number of Districts in that area. |
