EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (PASSENGER CAR ENTRY INTO SERVICE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2004.

I, SÉAMUS BRENNAN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 ( No. 27 of 1972 ), for purpose of giving effect to Directive 2003/102/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 November 20031 , in so far as it relates to the entry into service of motor vehicles, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Passenger Car Entry into Service) (Amendment) Regulations 2004.

2. The European Communities (Passenger Car Entry into Service) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 552 of 2003 ) are amended by substituting the following for Schedule 2:
