RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT 2004 (SECTION 202) REGULATIONS 2004.

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 8 and 202 of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 (No. 27 of 2004), hereby makes the following Regulations:--

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 (Section 202) Regulations 2004.

2. Section 62(1)(g) of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 does not apply to a notice of termination the date of service of which is earlier than the day on which Part 6 of the Act comes into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

These Regulations provide that the statement referred to in section 62(1)(g) of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 is not required to be included in a notice of termination under that Act that is served before Part 6 of the Act comes into operation.
