MATERNITY PROTECTION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2004 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2004.

I, MICHAEL McDOWELL, T.D., Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 27(3) of the Maternity Protection (Amendment) Act 2004 (No. 28 of 2004), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Maternity Protection (Amendment) Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2004.

2. The 18th day of October, 2004 is appointed as the day on which the Maternity Protection (Amendment) Act 2004 (No. 28 of 2004), other than section 24, shall come into operation.
