ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1925 - SECT 5

Designations of Ministries for purposes of Acts of Parliament.

5. In this Act, and in every other Act of the Parliament of Northern Ireland
whether passed before or after the passing of this Act, the following
expressions shall, unless the contrary intention appears, have the meanings
hereby respectively assigned to them, namely:

The expression "Ministry of Finance" shall mean the Ministry of Finance for
Northern Ireland:

The expression "Ministry of Home Affairs" shall mean the
Ministry of Home Affairs for Northern Ireland:

The expression "Ministry of Labour" shall mean the Ministry of Labour for
Northern Ireland:

[The expression "Ministry of Health and Social Services" shall mean the
Ministry of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland:]

The expression "Ministry of Education" shall mean the Ministry of Education
for Northern Ireland:

The expression "Ministry of Agriculture" shall mean the
Ministry of Agriculture for Northern Ireland:

The expression "Ministry of Commerce" shall mean the Ministry of Commerce for
Northern Ireland.

Ministry of Development for Northern Ireland:]

[The expression "Ministry of the Environment" shall mean the
Ministry of the Environment for Northern Ireland:

The expression "Ministry of Manpower Services" shall mean the
Ministry of Manpower Services for Northern Ireland:]

[The expression "Department of the Civil Service" shall mean the
Department of the Civil Service for Northern Ireland.]
