     " 26.  - (1) The fares payable for the hire of a Motor Hackney Carriage within the prescribed limits shall be -


(a) where not more than 4 passengers are carried -

			For every subsequent 146.7 yards (134.14 metres) or part thereof, or 32.7 seconds or part thereof.	Minimum £0·10 Maximum £0·10
3.	Rate 3	Any Day 24.00-06.00	For the first 0.5 mile (804.6 metres) or part thereof, or 3 minutes 32 seconds (212 seconds) or part thereof.	Minimum £2·60 Maximum £2·60
			For every subsequent 135.3 yards (123.72 metres) or part thereof, or 32.7 seconds or part thereof.	Minimum £0·10 Maximum £0·10
4.	Rate 4	20.00 Christmas Eve - 06.00 27 Dec	For the first 1.5 miles (2414 metres) or part thereof, or 10 minutes and 18.75 seconds (618.75 seconds) or part thereof.	Minimum £5·20 Maximum £5·20
		and 20.00 New Years Eve - 06.00 2 Jan	For every subsequent 160 yards (146.3 metres) or part thereof, or 37.5 seconds or part thereof.	Minimum £0·20 Maximum £0·20


(b) for each minute or part of a minute during which the taxi is kept waiting by the hirer for the rates described in the Table in sub-paragraph (a) -

(c) additional fare -



(i) for each passenger exceeding 4 carried for the entire distance

In assessing additional fares every child under the age of 6 years and/or one child over 6 years and under 12 years shall be disregarded. Two children between the ages of 6 years and 12 years shall be counted as one passenger.".

Revocation
     3. The Motor Hackney Carriages (Belfast) (Amendment) By-Laws (Northern Ireland) 2001[3] are hereby revoked.
