The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1 and 3(2) of the Education and Training (Scotland) Act 2000[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf hereby make the following Regulations:- Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education and Training (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 31st October 2001. Amendment of the Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2000 2. Regulation 7(5) of the Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2000[2] is deleted. ALASDAIR MORRISON Authorised to sign by the Scottish Ministers St Andrew's House, Edinburgh 27th September 2001 EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations amend the Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2000 ("the principal Regulations") which provide for the payment of Individual Learning Accounts. Regulation 2 removes the limit on the number of the £150 grants payable under Regulation 7(1)(a) of the principal Regulations.
